This Center-sponsored award is peer nominated and is considered
one of Ames' most prestigious honors. Every civil servant is
encouraged to submit nominations.
The Commercialization / Tech Transfer Award recognizes
employees and groups or teams of employees whose research has
resulted in the transfer of technology for commercial use.
Employees may submit nominations individually or as a group.
All nominations are given the same consideration, regardless of
the number of nominators on a nomination. A committee made up of
a cross section of employees will determine the finalists based
on the write-ups submitted for consideration.
Each honoree will be presented with a certificate and cash
honorarium. Contractor employees will receive an appropriate
memento in lieu of the cash honorarium. There may be more than
one winner in each category.
