NASA is open for business.
Overview
NASA's missions will be enhanced by expanding partnerships between NASA Enterprises and nonaerospace U.S. industrial firms and by leveraging the venture capital community for innovative technology development.

NASA will seek partnerships with U.S. industrial firms and the venture capital community that supports NASA's technology needs.

We invite industry and academia to review our strategic plans and contact us if there are opportunities for collaborative research or technology infusion.

See NASA's 2006 Strategic Plan (Adobe PDF document).

NASA currently offers the following types of partnering options.

Select one of the different partnering options to learn more about  what type will best suit you. Once you have decided on what plans best fits you, you will need to contact us to start the Commercialization Process. If you have a patent in mind that you want to license, please read the steps to apply for a license.

To find a technology that you would like to use or partner with NASA to develop into a commercial product, please visit our Technology Catalog section.
