Space Act Agreements

For NASA Internal Users (Researchers and Staff)

How to initiate a Reimbursable Space Act Agreement (RSAA)

  1. Provide information to the Ames Technology Partnership Office (TPO) by completing  a Space Act Agreement (SAA) Information Request form and sending it to (Carmela Carrick - Carmela.D.Carrick@nasa.gov)
  2. Upon receipt of the SAA Information Request, your RSAA will be assigned to a Technology Partnership Manager who will put together a draft RSAA
  3. Complete an Estimated Price Report (EPR) and a Reimbursable WBS Request Form which are accessible from the Ames Chief Financial Officer website at http://cfo.arc.nasa.gov/ (under Reimbursable Agreement). If you have any questions about how to complete either form  the EPR contact Karen Gentry (Karen.L.Gentry@nasa.gov) or Joanne Staley ( Jo.A.Staley@nasa.gov) of Code CFG.
  4. Complete and obtain appropriate approvals for the EPR with assistance, as needed, from Code CFG. The EPR will calculate the total amount to be reimbursed to Ames. Send the completed EPR to(Carmela Carrick - Carmela.D.Carrick@nasa.gov)
  5. Upon receipt of the completed EPR the assigned Technology Partnership Manager will finalize the draft RSAA and send to all parties for initial review.
  6. The Technology Partnership Manager will incorporate comments from initial review into final RSAA
  7. TPD will route two copies of final RSAA for approval and signature by pertinent Ames Organization Director
  8. TPD will send Ames signed agreements to partner for final review and signature
  9. The Partner will return one signed agreement and check to TPD
  10. TPD will file the RSAA and deliver the check and a copy of the signed RSAA to Code CFG
  11. TPD will send a copy of the executed RSAA to the Ames technical point of contact

Work can commence on the collaboration Have additional questions? Please contact the Technology Partnerships Division, (Carmela Carrick - Carmela.D.Carrick@nasa.gov) or at 650-604-0004
